So we give our cows nutritious diets, healthy living conditions and excellent medical care from the moment they’re born. And we never treat them with growth hormones like rBST. PROTECTING THE PLANET Shamrock Farms is committed to reducing our environmental footprint through several initiatives ranging from energy conservation to water stewardship. The Innovation Center for U.S. Dairy has set industry goals, that includes achieving greenhouse gas neutrality by 2050 as well as a focus on optimizing water use while maximizing recycling and improving overall water quality through enhanced utilization of manure and nutrients. SUPPORTING THE GREATER HERD Beyond the nourishment of milk, we do everything we can to work with our local community. Every month, we provide more than 80,000 pounds of food to local food banks and, every year, we support more than 80 non-profit organizations.
