Hola! Ketche allea! haa, marʉawe! Hello! My name is Cece Meadows and I am the founder and CEO of Prados Beauty. I was born and raised in Arizona but currently call the traditional homelands of the Piro-Manso-Tiwa people (Las Cruces, NM) my home. I am a Army wife, mother of four, a published poet and makeup artist. I find great joy in helping others and currently serve as the founder and President of my nonprofit, The Prados Life Foundation. As an Indigenous woman who's ancestors and descendants are of the Yoeme and Nʉmʉnʉ people, from present day Sonora Mexico, Texas, Arizona and New Mexico, I love learning about my culture, our languages and practicing our traditional ways. I created Prados Beauty to bring light and awareness to Indigenous peoples, our stories, our true history, resiliency and beauty. Creating space for Indigenous peoples throughout Turtle Island in the beauty space is my mission, and I take great pride in that opportunity. At Prados, we are building a community of dreamers and misfits who choose to follow their own path in life. We encourage our youth and our supporters to push the boundaries of conventional thinking. The Promise is our commitment to put our money, time, and mentorship back into Indigenous communities across Turtle Island. We do this by: Donating a portion of all proceeds back to charities and causes that support Indigenous communities Volunteering in our local Indigenous community Promoting Indigenous brands and entrepreneurs across our social media channels and website Currently we are organizing the following fundraising initiatives: Donate directly to the Prados Life Foundation. The Prados Life Foundation is a nonprofit organization committed to helping those in need. From the hearts and minds of founders; Cece and Daniel Meadows, The Prados Life Foundation supports those who need it most. The Prados Life Foundation is accepting donations for our current giving of shoes! We have donated over $3000 worth of shoes to various reservations throughout the US, Mexico and Canada. Bringing PPE to Native American Reservations: Our World-Changing partners have helped us raise more than $20,000 to help bring much need PPE supplies to remote communities that are really suffering under the strain of COVID.
