Two Friends and a Dream Pet Evolution is the brainchild of Twin Cities local owners Rian and Mike, longtime friends and animal lovers who shared the same simple philosophy: that the health of our pets is just as important as the health of any other family member. Much like humans, proper pet health starts with diet. Having both watched their childhood dogs suffer through the itchy paws, chronic ear infections, and multiple vet trips of undiagnosed food allergies, Rian and Mike dreamt of opening a neighborhood pet food store where they could monitor the foods they were providing with the meticulous care cherished family members deserve. Community Involvement Being a locally-owned pet supply store gives us a unique perspective—we know and love this community and we give back to it by supporting local animal organizations. Every year Pet Evolution donates a significant amount of profits to our community. In 2018, we donated several thousand dollars to local animal rescues, youth sponsored events, and other non profits events that make a difference throughout our local communities.
