All About P.L.A.Y. P.L.A.Y. makes quality dog beds with pets, people, and the planet in mind. When we were looking for quality dog beds for our own four legged friends, we couldn’t find one that fit our lifestyle as modern pet owners, so we made our own. Each bed is crafted for maximum comfort and ergonomic support, feature stylish and easy to care for covers, and are made from sustainable materials to protect Mother Earth. Giving Back P.L.A.Y.fully At P.L.A.Y., giving back is one of our core values and we are constantly striving to give back to not only pets, but people and the planet as well. Here’s how! Pets: One of the ways P.L.A.Y. gives to animals in need is through our Warm Bellies Initiative. In partnership with the Petfinder Foundation, one bed purchased on our website = one donated to a shelter in need. We’re also proud to contribute in-kind product donations to 501 ( C ) (3) rescues and organizations around the country supporting their fundraising efforts and participate in team volunteer days at our local shelters each year. At P.L.A.Y., we believe in giving back to all animals, not just pets and furry friends waiting at shelters to find their forever homes. 2% of the purchase price from P.L.A.Y.’s animal themed plush toy collections benefits the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) to aid in its mission to reduce the commercial exploitation of animals, protect wildlife habitats, and assist animals in distress. Our Snow Leopard Plush Toy donates 30% of its sales to the Snow Leopard Conservancy to help aid in the conservation of these beautiful animals. People: P.L.A.Y. created its Scholars Helping Collars Scholarship to reward three high school students whose actions and selfless dedication to causes best exemplify its core beliefs. The first place winner will receive one scholarship valued at $1,500. The second place winner will receive one scholarship valued at $300 and one set of Warm Bellies Special Edition Chill Pads (10 beds) to be donated to an animal shelter of their choice. The third place winner will receive one scholarship valued at $200 and one Garden Fresh plush toy set (5 toys) to be donated to the animal shelter of their choice. Two of our pet beds donate a portion of the proceeds from online orders to organizations helping to end cancer. 10% of the proceeds from online purchases of the Tuck Me In Rectangular Bed is donated to help fight breast cancer while 10% of the proceeds from our Mustache Rectangular Bed is donated to ZERO - The End of Prostate Cancer. Planet: Helping Mother Earth is at the very core of all that we do at P.L.A.Y. Our plush toys and most of our beds are filled with our eco-friendly, certified-safe PlanetFill® filler made from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic bottles.
