Opolis, pronounced ‘O-po lis’, which means ‘citizen’ or ‘community, is a conscientious global brand that builds premium eyewear using recycled and bio-based material.
Recycled Ocean Plastic
(PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) is one of the most commonly used plastics in single use consumer products. It is found in most water and soda bottles, and some packaging. Opolis is giving PET a second life through our StokedPlastic' collection. We are removing the most common piece of garbage floating or sitting in our planet's oceans and landfills and turning them into stunning, high-quality eyewear.
Nature is our muse and our mission.
We didn't follow any well trodden path and wind up here. We travelled the world, fell in love with our planet and found a way to make sustainable sunglasses along the way.
It takes equal parts loyalty to our Earth, care for our network of 2,000 waste collectors, and a whole lotta love for our community. Join us - doing good looks good on you.
