Cold Stone Creamery proudly supports Best Buddies® and their mission to end the social, physical and economic isolation of the 200 million people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Best Buddies International is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, leadership development, and inclusive living for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). In addition to raising funds in support of Best Buddies’ mission, many members of the Cold Stone Creamery team have also joined the organization’s e Buddies program and have formed friendships with a person with IDD where they use online tools and technology to stay in touch. We’re partnering with bstrong, founded by Bethenny Frankel, to support people and communities in need. Funds collected for bstrong will go directly to COVID-19 response initiatives centered around the shortage of medical and sanitization products. bstrong Global Empowerment Mission is working directly with manufacturers to ensure the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) items are sent to people and hospitals across the nation. They have committed to service up to 250 hospitals nationwide to get PPE to those in need.
