Brides for a Cause is a nonprofit organization that collects and resells wedding dresses to raise funds for charity.
Since 2012, Brides for a Cause has recycled over 23,000 wedding dresses and raised over $1,400,000 for charity.
Through our wedding dress recycling program, thousands of donated wedding dresses are collected and resold in a sustainable way each year, reducing waste and pollution and helping the environment, as every dress donated is one less dress produced. Together, our wedding dress recycling program has saved more than 207 liters of water and 247,000 kilograms of carbon emissions since 2012.
Through the monetary gifts given to our charitable partners, thousands of dollars are raised and dispersed to women’s causes each year, reaching millions of women including teen girls, young women, military brides, mothers, underprivileged women and women in need.
