ATHLETE DRIVEN We are a brand that is proud to cut against the grain. We champion all of you modern savages who work your asses off and refuse to make excuses. No handouts. No entitlements. You only get what you earn. That is the Born Primitive mindset, and it is true in the gym and in life. We are a brand that has said from day one that we MUST be more than an apparel company and we MUST give back. As an active-duty owned company, we are extremely grateful to those who serve or have served our country (especially our fellow military and first responder communities). We hold a special place for those who have made the ultimate sacrifice while down range or in the line of duty. We are also proud to support charities that center around cancer research, prevention, and treatment. Last, we are proud to support various COVID relief initiatives, including our own “Back the Gyms” Stimulus which allowed us to donate nearly $200K back to local gyms in the heart of the pandemic. The Best Defense Foundation focuses on helping our military veterans and their families. Their mission is “taking care of the ones who took care of us.” One pillar of the charity is to take veterans back to visit the battlefields they once fought on when they were younger. Many of the adaptive athletes they support are wounded Veterans who were injured while fighting for our country. “Defy Impossible” is a rally cry for their athletes and symbolizes the mindset they embrace as they overcome their obstacles.
