Adun Spice Co. is a Cleveland based spice company founded by Chef and creative Ramat Wiley. The name “Adun” means flavor, sweet and sweetness in the Yoruba language, a tribute to her Nigerian heritage. She believes that food is the key to life.
During all of her travels, whether it be across state lines or around the world, she always made it her due diligence to check out the culinary scene and bring one thing back. Spices. Smelling and tasting what everyone is cooking with has unlocked this wonderful excitement to learn about different flavors and their origins.
Our Mission
Adun Spice company strives to supply all cooks with ingredients to help discover the way they want to cook and provide nutrients and delicious flavors to themselves, their family, and loved ones.
It is our goal to provide the best items to you. We will source sustainable at trade, fair trade, and single origin spices, herbs and salts. We deeply believe in knowing where our food comes from. While spices are found around the world, it is near and dear to us to educate our community about the importance of eating locally grown foods and supporting local farmers.
With each month’s sales, Adun will give a portion of our sales to the Cleveland community in the form of donations to local food charities, families in need of food directly, and also help uplift other culinary entrepreneurs.
