About 3 Guys at the Grille
Giving back to the community has been the focus of the “3 Guys” from the beginning. In fact, it’s been through our charity work that 3 Guys Caterers evolved almost a decade ago. We began our catering business at the request of the community, after offering a monthly “Pasta Dinner Night” at the Knights of Columbus on Baldwin Street in East Longmeadow. Our premise, at the time, was to offer a sit down, family-style meal at an affordable price one day a month, so the elderly and families could gather. All proceeds from these dinners were developed into a scholarship fund to assist high school scholarship award recipients to further their education as they embarked upon their college endeavors.
Giving back to the community, as well as acknowledging the sacrifices of our military, have been some of the worthwhile endeavors pursued by 3 Guys Caterers, including but not limited to fundraising events such as Mission 22 (to help prevent Veteran suicide), Homeless Veterans, and The Patient Services Fund at the Sr. Caritas Cancer Center of Mercy Medical Center.
Monthly “Pasta Dinners”, created to give the elderly and families a place to gather for a great meal at an affordable price, have had the secondary benefit of raising money to support our youth. Over the past decade, over $100,000 worth of scholarships have been awarded to area high school students embarking upon their college endeavors.
However, our most rewarding endeavor thus far has been the donation of our time, catering abilities and money, for nine straight weeks of providing a drive-through dinner for our seniors during the height of COVID, a global pandemic.
