FIRE SAFETY MONTH BECAUSE FIRE IS ONLY GOOD FOR COOKING PIZZA
For over 20 years, Papa Gino’s has been a proud sponsor of Fire Safety Open Houses throughout New England in the month of October.
Since 1993, Papa Gino’s Fire Safety Month has:
Sponsored more than 1,800 open houses
Donated more than 100,000 large pizzas
Distributed more than 1,500,000 activity sheets and educational flyers
Fire station open houses are held to teach awareness and fire safety to the community. Many stations hold fire-safe demonstrations and have a safe-house for children to go through to learn about fire hazards. Papa Gino's sponsored open houses also have free pizza and educational material for families to take!
GIVING FOR A GREAT CAUSE
Since its founding in 1948, the Jimmy Fund has raised millions of dollars for Dana Farber Cancer Institute through thousands of grassroots efforts, helping to save lives and give hope to cancer patients around the world. Thanks to the Jimmy Fund, Dana-Farber has the resources to provide expert, compassionate care to children and adults and is home to groundbreaking cancer discoveries.
In 2015, Papa Gino's and D'Angelo Grilled Sandwiches reached the major milestone of over $1 million raised to support Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund.
