But we also embraced a D.O.G. philosophy: Doing Others Good In addition to our 1% for the Planet contributions, through our own "Doing Others Good" initiative, we donate 1% of more of all profits to local non-profits and goodwill organizations. SUSTAINABLE AND RESPONSIBLE SOURCING Producing essential oils is an inherently green business. The quality of the oil we get depends on keeping the soil and trees healthy. To harvest the main ingredient in our sprays, Citriodiol®, we partner with Citrefine International Ltd, a family-run company that harvests the oil from responsibly-maintained groves of Eucalyptus citriodora trees. These trees are maintained by local men and women without any pesticides and herbicides. B CORP CERTIFIED Balancing purpose with profit If you look for organic labels on your products, then you should keep an eye out for "B Corp certified" from your next service or goods provider. B Corp Certification is the only certification that measures a company's entire social and environmental impact. To earn the certification, we opened up our entire production for review back in 2015: from our business model and supply chain to our employee benefits and charitable contributions. We wanted to be certified because we share the belief that people can (and should) use business as a force for good—not just as a means for their own profit.
